This Privacy Policy describes how NeuraChange ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.
By using NeuraChange, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
1. Information We Collect
When you use NeuraChange, we collect the following information:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, password (hashed), preferred language, and subscription identifiers sourced from Apple/Google.
- Session Inputs: Personal context you voluntarily provide (goals, emotional states, challenges, archetype answers) plus the writings generated during chats, journals, or prompts. Each chat session typically produces 20 affirmations and one meditation script.
- Audio Preferences: Voice selections, soundscape mixes, download history, and reminder schedules so we can rebuild your sessions later.
- Usage and Device Data: Device model, OS version, app version, IP-derived region, crash logs, notification tokens, and in-app events (e.g., paywall views, reminder taps).
- Diagnostics/Support: If you contact support we may retain the contents of your message and any files you send to resolve the issue.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Generate personalized affirmations, meditations, and subliminal audio requested in each session.
- Store past entries so you can revisit or regenerate content.
- Sync subscriptions, free-trial eligibility, and payment status.
- Send optional notifications, reminders, and journaling nudges (only if you opt in).
- Monitor performance, debug crashes, and measure feature adoption in aggregate.
- Train and refine our models using de-identified or aggregated data. We do not feed raw personal logs into advertising platforms.
We never sell your personal data or use it for behavioral advertisements.
3. Sharing With Third-Party Service Providers
To deliver the core features of NeuraChange we securely share relevant data with third parties. We request consent before sending any chat text to external AI models and you can toggle that setting under Settings ▸ Privacy. Our current processors include:
- Google Gemini / OpenAI / Anthropic (Language Models): Receive session prompts so we can craft affirmations. Inputs are sent over TLS and are not used by these vendors to train public models.
- Azure Cognitive Services / Amazon Polly (Text-to-Speech): Receive generated meditation text plus metadata (selected voice, speed) to return audio files.
- Supabase (Hosting & Database): Stores account data, journaling entries, reminders, and analytics events in the USA.
- RevenueCat (Subscription Management): Validates receipts, free trials, renewals, and cancellations. No journal or affirmation content is shared.
- Mixpanel (Product Analytics): Receives device identifiers, locale, country, and high-level usage events for aggregated product insights.
- Sentry (Crash Monitoring): Receives crash stack traces, device model, OS version, and anonymized logs when failures occur.
- Expo/Apple Push Notification services: Receive device tokens to deliver reminders you opt into.
All vendors are bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements and may retain limited logs per their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to unrelated parties.
4. Data Storage and Retention
We store your information in secure databases for the following purposes:
- So you can review and manage your past entries and generated content.
- To maintain your account, subscription status, and preferences.
- To improve feature reliability and detect abuse.
We retain personal data while your account remains active. When you delete the account, we purge personal content within 30 days and remove subscription/analytics metadata within 90 days unless a longer retention period is required for legal, tax, or security reasons.
5. International Data Transfers
Because our infrastructure and service providers may be located in different countries (including the United States and European Union), you consent to the international transfer and storage of your data when using NeuraChange. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards whenever data leaves Argentina.
6. Security Measures
We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and at-rest encryption for sensitive records.
- Access controls limited to staff who need the data to operate the Service.
- Regular audits, backups, and monitoring for unusual activity.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we store about you.
- Request correction or deletion of inaccurate data.
- Withdraw consent to optional processing (e.g., AI sharing, marketing emails).
- Request a portable copy of your inputs.
- Delete your account via Settings ▸ Account ▸ Delete Account or by emailing us.
To exercise these rights, email admin@neurachange.com. We may verify your identity before processing the request.
8. Children's Privacy
NeuraChange is not intended for users under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app messages or email and indicate the new effective date. Continued use of NeuraChange after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Any dispute, claim, or request related to privacy matters will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of the City of Bahía Blanca, Province of Buenos Aires.
